  3. Hello Monica!

Hope you are doing well! I was just wondering if you still sell the Plumeria soap, I really love that. Just thought I’d check!

Hope your summer is going well,

    Theresa (Massachusetts)

    1. Hello Theresa,
I have stopped making plumeria, the oils I used to make the scent are no longer available to me.
I am thinking of adding jasmine/gardenia to the line, however still looking for reputable sources on those too. The apple blossom soap is the similar. So sorry, I know it was loved by so many, including me. Have a Happy Summer, Big Hugs, Monica

      1. Hi Monica,

  10. I received Monica’s Body Butter Four Thieves as a Christmas gift.
Is this new or old labeling for Monica’s Cocoacream Organic Deodorant?

    1. To clarify, the body butter and the deodorant you received are indeed the same product. The only difference is the label. It sounds like you may have received Monica’s Body Butter Four Thieves as a gift, which, although labeled as body butter, contains the same formula as the Cocoacream Organic Deodorant.
Both products have been favorites for over a decade in health food stores due to their versatile benefits. The formula is antibacterial and calming, making it excellent not only for everyday use but also for soothing sore muscles, ligaments, and dry or chapped skin. The addition of comfrey helps to relieve coughs when applied to the chest, while calendula promotes healing for skin issues. Additionally, the base is gentle and nourishing, with antibacterial properties that help eliminate germs while leaving a pleasant scent.
We’ve found that many of our customers enjoy having both options for different uses, which is why the product is offered in both forms.
I hope this provides a clearer picture of the deodorant and body butter. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact me directly for a quicker response.
      Best regards,
      Monica Carter

  11. We were staying at Kate’s Fish Camp after I had fallen on my bike and had some pretty deep scrapes. Kate offered me a white bar of soap with ridges that she broke in half for me, is that the same as what was in the sample gift pack? It is working great on eczema.

    1. Hello Peggy, I am so happy to hear that the soap is helping your skin.
All of our soaps are made with the same ingredients, only difference is the essential oils used to scent the different types.
Our liquid is also made with our Coco Castle formula. Monica created for her children back in the 1990’s to help with skin and scalp irritation. Soaps made with standard soap oils and processing are harsh and made with unclean ingredients that people can find very irritating. And in my family’s experience the dermatologist recommended basically the same products just more expensive and more pain relievers and anti-itch agents. When it has been common knowledge that soap made with first-pressed extra virgin olive oil at 60 to 80% actually heals skin cells as well as cleansing. To that we add virgin coconut oil to enhance the lather, creating a super bubbly, clean rinsing, moisturizing soap that you can use on your hair, face, body, teeth and shave with better than the top commercial brands in each of the categories. So in closing to answer your question, Yes, the samples that Monica gave you in the welcome gift and the piece that Monica cut off for your skin to heal are all made with extra virgin olive oil and virgin coconut oil. I recommend the UNSCENTED or Oatmeal for eczema. Also Eucalyptus lavender tea tree and Lavender by itself are relaxing and medicinal. I would also recommend that you try the face wash as it is my unscented liquid soap that has additional benefits to the skin, scalp and hair. And a jar of the face and body cream, it is amazing how fast your skin drinks it up and feels almost immediately after application. I use daily after my shower for body aches and pain and the way it makes my skin look and feel. My scents are all gentle and made from plants that I test on my skin before adding to any products. If you would like to speak with me, don’t hesitate to call.

    1. Hello DJ, I purchase the jars of organic virgin coconut oil from Sams.
It’s fantastic for skin, soap making and cooking! Stir often in the summer because it will separate when warm. It also makes a great suntan oil with an spf of 7. Turning skin brown instead of splotchy red with freckles. Love that coconut oil!
      Have a fantastic summer!

I purchased the shampoo because of the aloe ingredient, my hair needs moisture, and aloe is great! My hair feels amazing. I have locs by the way I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that is moisturizing, lasting smell, and makes me hair glow, this it! And it’s in bottle which is even better. Definitely a keeper. 21. Hello Monica – We stayed at Kate’s Fish Camp in Gainesville FL in February 2026 and had the good fortune to talk with Mike about your soaps. He gave me a sample to try. I have horribly dry skin, so I was skeptical, but after trying your soap in the shower and later on my face – wowzer, total game changer. Love the lather, the light fragrance and most importantly, how my skin feels. My sister in law, who has sensitive skin also likes how her skin felt.

  22. After staying at your campground and being introduced to your wonderful soaps and other products I don’t use anything else. I give it as gifts to friends and family too. Right now one of my granddaughters is in need of more but can’t remember which fragrances she likes. Would I be able to purchase a sample soap of each fragrance you have in stock? Expect to be traveling through the area this coming Wednesday, 4/15 and will stop by to purchase other items I need.

  23. Monica,
I’ve been enjoying your wonderful soaps for over a year. I purchased them at Chiapinni’s in Melrose. Chiapinni’s was recently sold and demolished. Can you tell me where can go to purchase your soaps? I live in the Keystone area.

    1. Hello Katie, I am so happy to hear you are loving our soapy soaps! I am however sad to hear Chiappini’s is gone! I will forever miss them as I know you will too! You can order our soap here online or find it in several locations around our area: Pearl’s BBQ in Micanopy, Ward’s supermarket in Gainesville and Sunflower health food stores in Gainesville and Lake City.
If you need help you can call or email me, I am at Kate’s fish camp in Gainesville where we make our products. Have a super bubbly day! Monica

  24. Hi Monica: do you still make the larger soaps?
